What is an Alert?

An Alert automatically executes a database search at regular intervals using a predefined search strategy. Once set up, the Alert delivers retrieved information automatically to you with no further input required.

Alerts can be set to run daily, weekly or monthly and delivered by e-mail, FTPor post*. Alerts are available to all Dialog and Dialog DataStar customers.
