Searching Punctuation To search a numerical string with a decimal on DataStar, enter the whole string in single inverted commas: MEZZ 1_: '1.25'
RESULT 15268
Note: It is not possible to search punctuation on DataStar because it is not loaded into the index, so you cannot search the percent sign. Searching '1.25' will not always retrieve 1.25%, it might retrieve 1.25 mg, and other occurrences of this number so be sure to narrow the results. ![]() ![]() |

Documents indexed include conference proceedings, books, journals, reports and dissertations, and contain abstracts varying in length from a half page to several pages, which are longer than the abstracts available today. IN68 is available either on a purchase basis (i.e. ownership in perpetuity), as a site license or transactionally. Change in Data Provided for EU Countries in Dialog TradStat The European Commission has changed the reporting regulations for some products traded within the European Union. The revised regulation eliminates the requirement for traders to report net mass of some products. Going forward, only a unit count is required. Currently, only the trade data for the United Kingdom and France are affected by the changes. Some traders are adopting this reporting change and are no longer providing net mass data; other traders continue to provide the net mass data. For Dialog TradStat searchers, the change means that the net mass reported for some products will be incomplete. Despite this change, searchers will continue to be able to accurately compare trade across countries in different products by value, in a range of currencies. |
