Dialog "How Do I...?" - Patents

Find Technology a Company Has Recently Licensed?

TOPIC: In this example using Dialog NewsRoom (Files 990, 989), you will patents that the medical firm Curon has recently licensed. A license provides a way for companies to expand their market geographically and profit from a technology that a company might not use otherwise.

Good sources of licensing information are newspapers, newswires and the trade press in Dialog NewsRoom (File 990), Business & Industry™ (File 9), and Dialog Global Reporter (File 20), specialty journals found in files like MEDLINE® (File 155) and Ei Compendex® (File 8) and newsletters such as Gale Group Newsletter Database™ (File 636).
