The Dialog Table of Contents Alerts feature has three price components:

1. Flat Mailbox Delivery Fee
2. Article Charges
3. Redistribution Charges

The Flat Mailbox Delivery Fee covers all transmission costs associated with the delivery of article title list messages and fulltext articles delivered to individual email addresses. The charges are calculated monthly based on the number of subscriptions per Billto account. The rates are based on the number of subscriptions a Billto has in a given month.

Article charges are based on the actual articles ordered from the title list messages. Normally, the charge is the fulltext price of a record in the database from which the article originates. Redistribution charges are automatically applied when multiple copies of the same article are ordered under the same subscription. The charge is calculated by taking the fulltext format price multiplied with the ERA™ (Electronic Redistribution & Archiving) multiplier. Substantial volume rates are realized when many copies of the same article are ordered from the same subscription.

Example, if fulltext articles in a given database cost $4.50:

If 30 email recipients order the same article, the total charge is $13.50 or $.45 each.

If 150 email recipients order the same article, the total charge is $18.00 or $.12 each.
