Document Delivery via Dialog More than 12,000 full-text publications are available online in Dialog databases. The full text of publications not available online may be ordered using the Dialog SourceOne or Thomson Scientific Document Solution (Infotrieve) services. Document ordering tools are built into most Dialog products, with several easy ways to order. Choose the method most convenient for you. Dialog SourceOne Patents, file histories for patents and trademarks, and other publications may be ordered through Dialog SourceOne. Charges for documents ordered via SourceOne are automatically posted to your Dialog account.
Documents may be ordered online using a simple fill-in-the-blanks form. The Web-based document ordering portal, shown below, is available in
The SourceOne Document Delivery Portal is not available in the DialogClassic text-only interface.
From the list of choices, select from Thomson File Histories - Patents, Thomson File Histories - U.S. Federal Trademarks, Thomson Patent Store (patents in PDF format), or Document Delivery (i.e., all other types of documents). Fill in the order form and verify the delivery address shown on the form is correct. To update the delivery address, click the "Change Delivery Profile" link above the address.
When connected to the Dialog service using a product that supports Dialog Command Language, DialogClassic, DialogClassic Web, DialogLink 5, or DialogWeb—Command, enter the command ORDER to access the menu-driven document ordering system, shown below. Order patents and other documents by entering patent numbers or by entering set and item numbers from your current search. There are also menu options for reviewing the status of existing orders. Document Delivery via the ORDER command, known as DIALORDER®, is still supported; however, simpler document ordering methods using Dialog SourceOne, described above, are available. No further development of the command-based DIALORDER system is planned. For more information about the superseded ORDER command, type HELP ORDER online. |
